CoStar Group - one of the leading lights in commercial real estate - has reported good news for Oxfordshire and the demand for office space in the county.

In its latest analysis (the CoStar LEP Activity Index) it revealed OxLEP represents the most in-demand area across all local enterprise partnership regions.

The analysis reviews office occupier and investment activity across England’s 38 LEPs, measuring demand and liquidity comparing net absorption and investment volume in each LEP area.

The analysis gives up-to-date figures, assessing activity during the second-half of 2016 and the first-half of 2017.

CoStar says Oxfordshire's position has been helped by 'numerous occupier expansions in recent months', including Adaptimmune at Milton Park (67,000 square feet) and Dematic at Banbury Business Park (48,000 square feet).
