Budding entrepreneurs in the Vale of White Horse have been given a fantastic opportunity to make their business dream a reality with Spark Vale’s Business Idea Competition, set to provide eventual winners with access to over £50,000 of business support services.

Spark is open to anyone who dreams of starting their own business or has a business they want to grow - the only stipulation is you must base your business in the Vale.

Prizes include a year’s free office space at the Harwell Innovation Centre and a huge package and business support prizes worth over £50,000. The competition closes on the 19th October.

The growing prize pot has been donated by respected businesses from the Vale, including specialist start-up accountancy firm Inca, Artisan Intelligent Print Solutions, Coller IP, Focus Oxford LLP, Bluestream Recruitment, Vale4Business, Sharp Ahead, Kelly Lea PR, NatWest, ByBox and Oxford Innovation.

There are three categories, for entrants over and under the age of 25, and for any existing businesses we are keen for local companies to not miss out.

You'll be directed to register your email address. Once logged in, click the ‘Enter the Spark Competition Now’ logo. Choose the relevant category, fill out your answers and click submit. If you wish to edit your entry after submission, an email with a code will be sent to your email address.
