The diggers have arrived!

Work has now started on the Harwell Link Road and you will start to see workers from Galliford Try clearing the site and setting up the site compound by the A417.

Before and after the Christmas break there will be some traffic management (traffic lights) on the A417 and B4493 when the team carry out some of the vegetation clearance, installing temporary and permanent boundary fencing, completion of the office and site compound set up.

Early in the new year work on the south roundabout will begin in earnest with traffic management in place to deal local traffic and utility diversions such as gas, electric, BT, Virgin will be taking place at the northern end by the B4493.

The pictures show the very earliest stages of work. We will keep taking pictures so that you can see work progress over the coming months.
