The Oxford AHSN has been awarded $100,000 to develop worldwide standard outcome measures for inflammatory bowel disease. The project with be led by Simon Travis of Oxford University Hospitals with the International Consortium for Health Outcomes Measurement. The development of a set of outcomes in inflammatory bowel disease will enable global comparisons and facilitate global adoption of best practice for patient benefit. The new measures are due to be presented at the ICHOM annual conference in May. This is supported by a grant from AbbVie.
