The gestational diabetes digital monitoring system accelerated and spread by the Oxford AHSN was an example of innovation highlighted by a Government minister at a major NHS event.
 
Life Sciences Minister George Freeman MP – who was a guest at our Alumni Summit in July – highlighted the role of AHSNs in "helping to catalyse economic growth at the same time as driving improvements in the quality and efficiency of care" during his speech at the Health and Care Innovation Expo in Manchester last week.
