PR and communications apprenticeship opportunity at OxLEP

We are delighted to announce a great opportunity for a young, hard-working person – who’s looking to take their first step into the world of public relations and communications – to join our team.

Through our PR and Communications Apprentice role, we can offer the right candidate an excellent role, helping to promote one of the best-performing economies anywhere in the UK.

We champion Oxfordshire’s economic potential, driving forward a dynamic and growing economy. Our vision for Oxfordshire is for our economy to be: ‘a vibrant, sustainable, inclusive, world- leading economy – driven by innovation, enterprise and research excellence’. As a key member of our communications team, the candidate will get the opportunity – working with a variety of partners across a number of sectors – to continue to help us to meet this vision.

This role will best suit somebody who has a taste for ‘business’, enjoys working with the media, understands the importance of creating and maintaining a positive public profile for organisations and has a desire to be challenged and learn in a fast-paced environment.

The role is a 15-month, fixed-term position with a salary of £16,477.50 per annum. The apprentice will complete a Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship in PR qualification.

We aim to have our new apprentice in post by late-February to early-March this year.

For an informal discussion about the role, please contact Rob Panting – Communications Manager – on 07748 333402 or email: robert.panting@oxfordshirelep.com.
