Through funding streams including the Local Growth Fund, Regional Growth Fund and City Deal, Oxfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership has been able to help aid growth in Oxfordshire. There is a new commitment to build 7500 homes by 2018 across the county. There is also £30m allocated to support the development of four innovation Hubs - Harwell Innovation Hub, Culham Advanced Manufacturing Hub, BioEscalator and the Begbroke Innovation Accelerator.

Through the City Deal £22m has been allocated for key projects to support the innovation agenda - Science Transit, Northern Gateway and Access to the Enterprise Zone (EZ), these will improve infrastructure across Oxfordshire and enable better access to the county.

The Regional Growth Fund (RGF) is a £3.2 billion fund, helping companies throughout England to create jobs between now and the mid 2020's. The RGF supports projects and programmes that are using private sector investment to create economic growth and sustainable employment.
