TRAFFIC management arrangements on the A34 at Milton will change on 28 October as work moves to the next stage, which is to construct the last section of the new bridge.
From that date traffic travelling southbound will be able to use two lanes on the A34 – northbound traffic will have the option to use one lane on the A34 or continue their journey via the slip road down to the roundabout to rejoin the A34. Vehicles more than 2.5m wide will need to use this route.
The new arrangement, which is shown on the map below, will be clearly signed.
Milton services open as usual
While the work continues the local businesses on the A4130 at Milton services, McDonalds, BP Connect, Premier Inn, the Applecart Restaurant, Costa Coffee and Ridgeway Volkswagen all remain open as usual.
