O2i Seek Support: Enterprise Adviser Network
O2i, Opportunities to Inspire, is looking for expressions of interest to support the delivery of the Careers and Enterprise Company’s Enterprise Adviser Network in Oxfordshire on behalf of Oxfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership.
The purpose of a local Enterprise Adviser Network is to create powerful, lasting connections between local businesses and the schools and colleges in the area. To support this in Oxfordshire, O2i are recruiting O2i Advisers. This OxLEP initiative is run by O2i and funded by the Careers and Enterprise Company.
The main purpose of this role is to:
1. Support the Enterprise Co-ordinator to liaise with schools and colleges
2. Seek out opportunities where employers can add value through real life examples, experience and expertise
3. Seek out volunteers from business to take up these opportunities
Successful delivery will be measured on
1. Recruitment and matching of 15 O2i Advisers to individual Oxfordshire schools
2. Recruitment (and registration at O2i.org) of an additional 35 volunteers from business
The anticipated contract start date is Monday 11th January 2016 and will cover up to 52 days (to correspond with school term dates) up to the end of June 2016. Daily rate of £250 with an additional £175 for each O2i Adviser matched with a school.

Organisations wishing to express interest in providing this support should send a proposal in no more than 400 words stating your interest, experience and skills in developing education business links, along with a CV of the main individuals responsible for the delivery, to info@O2i.org by 1pm Wednesday 2nd December 2015.

Successful/shortlisted organisations will be notified by end of w/c 7th December. Shortlisted organisations will be required to attend client interviews in Oxford on Wednesday 6th January 2016.
