Traffic information

  • Temporary traffic lights will be in place on the A417 at the eastern end of the project on a daily basis between 9.30am and 3.30pm and will be in place until 19 February 2016.
  • The temporary traffic lights will then be moved to the western end of the scheme and installed 24 hours a day from 22 February for approximately three weeks.

We have also started laying the new kerbs to define the new layout of the A417 and you can now see the roundabout shape forming as shown in the photo.
 
The existing drainage is being replaced by a new and improved drainage network and elements of this have been installed.
 
Over the coming weeks the team will continue with the same activities and will be getting ready to lay the tarmac on the new roads.
