The #PassTheTorch campaign is about recognising the important role of Thames Valley businesses in passing on skills and knowledge to the next generation of workers.  Apprenticeships are a fantastic way of doing that but we understand that for some businesses it can be hard making sense of how they work, and knowing how and where to get started. That's where we come in!

This event, hosted by Darke & Taylor - who were winners of both the 'Apprenticeship of the Year' and 'Overall Business of the Year' awards at the 2015 Oxfordshire Business Awards  - will help bring you up to date with how Apprenticeships work, the funding and grants that are available and practical tips on how to recruit.  We'll also cover some of the main changes / reforms that will affect Apprenticeships in the future including the Apprenticeship Levy, changes to employers NI, how training is funded....and more.
