The Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) has today launched a Medicines Discovery UK Landscape. This new tool is designed to map the innovation landscape in medicines discovery - showcasing the UK capabilities and enabling added leverage from external collaborations, from outsourcing to strategic partnerships.

Dr Alexander Henzing, Knowledge Transfer Manager at KTN, said:

"Medicines discovery is a multidisciplinary process whether as part of a multinational pharmaceutical company, small biotechnology company, contract research organization or academic institution. This portal provides a simple and accessible platform that shows the UK's strengths and capabilities across the medicines discovery landscape from the identification of novel therapeutic targets to developing products that represent substantial improvements on current treatments."
