Traffic management

• Nightly lane 1 closures on the A34 southbound began on 15 August and are expecetd to be in place for around eight weeks to tie the new off-slip into the main road.
• From 30 August for around six weeks lane 1 on the Northbound will also be closed nightly. These closures will be in place from 8pm - 6am.

Latest progress:

Work on site at Chilton is continuing to progress with things continuing to take shape.
 
At the moment the team are installing lamp columns and street signs, resurfacing the A4185 and Manor Court roundabout and finishing off work around a culvert under the northbound on-slip to the A34. Thames Water are also on site diverting some of their water infrastructure.
