Witney based STL Communications wins top award at the 2016 Comms National Awards
STL Communications has been named winner of the Best Enterprise Contact Centre Solution Award in the Comms National Awards, the UK’s flagship independent ICT industry awards programme judged by industry specialists.
Witney based STL provides business telephone systems and hosted solutions along with broadband and mobiles to organisations across Oxfordshire, London and the UK. STL’s winning entry was based on the installation of a 200 live seat call centre telephone system for MCE in Northamptonshire. MCE installed a pure internet based solution with SIP trunks, a new Samsung IP phone handset for each agent with resiliency across their 2 sites.
Philip Donigan, STL’s Sales Director commented, “We were delighted to win this prestigious award which recognises the passion of the whole team here at STL, working together to both win and install this system. Although STL is not as large as some of the other providers we were up against, we can often be more flexible, more personal and more reactive and flexible which is reflected in the levels of service and support we offer.”
Philip adds, “The new phone system enables MCE’s agents to handle more calls and to do so more efficiently thanks to optimised call handling and routing. It also provides cost savings by transferring from ISDN to SIP trunks.”
STL received the award from TV presenter Gabby Logan at the Comms National Awards held at London’s Hilton on Park Lane Hotel. The 15th annual Comms National Awards was the most competitive in its history more than 190 entries. Winners of the 2016 Comms National Awards were determined by an experienced panel of seven judges who have all worked in the ICT industry. Each judge independently marked entries based on financial performance between July 2015 and July 2016, the return on investment of solutions, support and service provided and the quality of supporting testimonials.
Nigel Sergent, Editorial Director of Comms Dealer magazine, which founded the Comms National Awards, commented “Our judges have had a colossal task this year and I would like to thank them for the effort and time they freely gave. This year, as well as a record entry, the quality of the submissions was extremely high and any winning entry will have stood out in terms of innovation, uniqueness and customer value.”
