Oxfordshire Apprenticeship Awards – recognising the county’s star Apprentices
The inaugural Oxfordshire Apprenticeship Awards have been launched, which will recognise the best talent in the county with a special presentation evening on Wednesday 8th March 2017 at the Marlborough Enterprise Centre in Woodstock, during National Apprenticeship Week.
There are four ‘Apprentice of the Year’ categories – Intermediate, Advanced, Higher and Special Recognition, for an Apprentice who has overcome significant challenges or barriers to learning or work - with an overall Oxfordshire Apprentice of the Year to be chosen from the winners. A School Award and Training Provider Award will recognise the importance of their part in an Apprentice’s journey.
Please encourage your star Apprentices to enter, or nominate them – we know they can sometimes be a little shy about coming forward! As well as a fantastic way to recognise and thank your Apprentices, this is also a great opportunity to showcase how Apprenticeships work in your organisation. See oxfordshireapprenticeships.co.uk/content/awards for details.
Apprenticeship of the Year Award – celebrating business success
We know that behind every successful Apprentice is a supportive employer and so we have introduced an ‘Apprenticeship of the Year’ Award at the Oxfordshire Business Awards. This award is for an organisation, rather than an individual Apprentice and aims to celebrate the best Apprenticeship schemes in the county whilst giving other employers the opportunity to benefit from the sharing of good practice. Why not consider entering this year?
The Oxfordshire Business Awards will launch on 12th January 2017, see oxfordshirebusinessawards.co.uk for more.
