Oxfordshire has received £16.95m in EU funding from 2014 to 2020.

The money comes from two funds; the European Regional Development and the European Social Fund (ESF).

The ERDF money will be spent on projects which involve; innovation, SME competitveness, low carbon and ICT, climate change adaptation, environmental protection and sustainable transport.

The ESF will be spent on projects that:

• promote employment and support labour mobility
• promote social inclusion and combat poverty
• invest in educationskills and lifeling learning
• enhance institutional capacity and efficient public administration
