BizBritain – Providing Business Opportunities Across Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Oxfordshire

Entrepreneurs in Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Oxfordshire are being given the opportunity to access up to £25,000 in a low cost start up loan thanks to the launch of BizBritain.

Working as an official delivery partner of the government’s Start Up Loans Scheme, BizBritain was founded by Matt Gubba to deliver funding and mentoring to potential business owners looking to start a business. As well as providing access to low cost loans, BizBritain can help applicants to build a business plan and hone their commercial proposition.

Loans are available up to £25,000 for any entrepreneur who has been trading for less than 24 months and who intends for the business to be their primary source of income over the next year.

After registering online, prospective business owners will be contacted by BizBritain within 24 hours to progress their application. Those whose applications are approved can receive money within a week from the UK government Start Up Loans Scheme.

For those that need a little more help in refining their business plan and focusing their business proposition, free training and mentoring is offered to help them reach a level where they are ready to receive their loan.
Founder Matt Gubba is keen to help potential business owners, regardless of their academic achievements:

‘I knew from a young age that the traditional route of further education wasn’t right for me so I entered the world of business when I was just 16 and over the past 14 years I have launched a number of successful businesses in the media, events and finance sectors.

‘If you have a strong business idea and the ability to succeed, following a formal path shouldn’t be the only route. BizBritain aims to help entrepreneurs get the finance and support they need to get a start in business, regardless of the path that led them here.’

Details of events taking place across the Thames Valley will be announced shortly.
