How we’re getting on with the work

Work on London Road is progressing well with four sections of road now reconstructed and resurfaced, with engineers working on the fifth section at the moment.

Useful information

Residents in the London Road area will be receiving letters at the start of April regarding night working we will be doing towards the end of April and into May (April 27 – 30 and 6 and 7 May). This work will take place between Wharton Road and the Green Road Roundabout and will involve the installation of the final road surfacing. Undertaking this work under a road closure, at night, allows the work to be undertaken more efficiently, more safely and will reduce risks to road users.
