Highways England is undertaking essential repairs to the bridges of the M4 Junction 13 Chieveley Interchange.

Between May and August 2015 work will involve replacing the deck beams along the central reservation.

To undertake this work safely, we will need to shut varied sections of Junction 13 on selected weekends, from 9pm Friday to 5.30am Monday, with clearly signed diversions in place.

These closures are currently planned for:

 Friday 8th to Monday 11th May
 Friday 29th May to Monday 1st June
 Friday 5th to Monday 8th June
 Friday 12th to Monday 15th June
 Friday 19th to Monday 22nd June
 Friday 10th to Monday 13th July
 Friday 17th to Monday 20th July
 Friday 31st July to Monday 3rd August
 Friday 7th to Monday 10th August

Access to the Moto Service Area, Travelodge and Hilton hotel will be available during the closures using signed diversion routes.

Over these weekend periods, work will take place on both bridges simultaneously to keep overall disruption to a minimum for both road users and the local community.

Signifi cant delays will be expected. Please avoid this route or allow extra time where possible.
