During Jan's time with the Department for Work and Pensions she has worked in a number of locations in the South starting her career in Hackney moving from there to many locations in the South East including Slough, Reading and Oxford covering a multitude of roles. Jan is currently based at High Wycombe Jobcentre and in her current role as Senior Partnership Manager for Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes and Oxfordshire meets a variety of people in the private and public sector who help support unemployed people back into work.

Jan is CIPD qualified and has spent a number of years during her career working as a HR Manager.

Married with two children who are both pursuing different career paths. Jan is a keen recreational skier and heads to the French Alps at least once a year.
