What you need to know:

Schools start to return for the new school year from the first week in September and traffic levels on all roads will increase significantly. Plan your journeys now to cope with potential delays and consider using public transport, cycling, walking or car sharing for all or part of your journeys.

Traffic management is in place on both roundabouts and approach roads. More information on the layouts can be found at www.oxfordshire.gov.uk/a40roundabouts

As of Tuesday 01 September 2015 Oxfordshire County Council have altered the traffic management around Wolvercote roundabout. They have narrowed the approaches and the roundabout (excluding Gostow) from two lanes to one lane in order to provide a safe working environment for the workforce whilst they carry out resurfacing to the new lanes.

This work will take approximately three days and once it is complete the second lane will reopen.
