Growing Places Fund

The Governments Growing places fund (GPF) is designed to accelerate developments that may have stalled as a result of a restricted financial climate, to enable the creation of new jobs and homes.

Out of a national pot of £500m, OxLEP received £9m to help support schemes across our area. This funding supports economic growth by addressing the infrastructure and site constraints that may be impeding development. It has been allocated to schemes in Oxfordshire through three successful rounds.

The Oxfordshire Growing Places Fund is an “Evergreen Investment Fund”, allocated on a competitive basis through open calls for project proposals. Investments are generally made on the basis of an unsecured loan with interest rates reflecting the risk of the applicant and project.

The programme is currently allocated and therefore is closed to new applications though this is reviewed on a regular basis. New calls will be publicised on the OxLEP website, social media and press when available.
